Six people charged with making meth in infant's home

Charges were filed Wednesday against six people who are accused of manufacturing methamphetamine in a home where a 5-month-old baby lived.
Amanda Camille Johnson, 19; Kenneth Berek Bronson, 23; Harold Dean Johnson, 20; Joseph Aaron Gibson, 22; William Taylor Lane, 23; and Jordan Riley Julian, 20, are charged with endeavoring to deliver, manufacture and possess controlled drugs, according to Tulsa County District Court filings.
Amanda Johnson and Harold Johnson are also charged with harboring a fugitive. Amanda Johnson and Bronson are also charged with child neglect.
Police went to the residence, which is in the 1000 block of North Louisville Avenue, about 12:30 a.m. Dec. 1 in an effort to locate Bronson, who was wanted on several Tulsa County arrest warrants, an arrest report says.
As officers entered the house, they smelled an odor associated with methamphetamine, the report says.
After learning that Amanda Johnson's 5-month-old child was in the house, they immediately removed the baby from the residence, police said.
Officers went back into the home and found several items they believe were used for methamphetamine manufacturing, including chemicals, glassware and other equipment, the report says.
Bronson, who is believed to be the father of infant, was found hiding in a closet, the report says.
During an interview, he said meth had been produced in the home as early as the previous afternoon, police said.
Bronson also reportedly informed investigators that he observed what he thought were drug deals and that he provided boxes of pseudoephedrine to Harold Johnson in exchange for meth, the report says.
Johnson told police that he purchased the pseudoephedrine and that he knows "it is used to cook dope," the report says.
Julian, Gibson, Bronson, Amanda Johnson and Harold Johnson remain the Tulsa Jail. Lane was not in custody as of Wednesday, jail records show.
