A Tulsa woman suffered non-life threatening injuries Wednesday after being shot during a domestic dispute in a home where a toddler lived.
Police were called to the 3800 block of N. Delaware about 3:10 p.m. to investigate a shooting at a residence, Cpl. Tami Manz said.
No one was inside the home when officers arrived at the scene, Manz said. The victim was found by officers at a nearby apartment complex, police said.
"She was hiding from the suspect," Manz said.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, suffered a single gunshot wound to the torso during an argument with a man inside the home, police said.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. Her current condition is unknown.
Police said a 2-year-old child was inside the home at the time of the shooting. The child was not injured and was later taken from the home by a relative, police said.
A description of the gunman was unavailable, police said.
