Claremore's Jordan Schultz leaves OSU

Claremore native Jordan Schultz has left the Oklahoma State women's basketball program for personal reasons, coach Jim Littell said Wednesday.
"We are disappointed Jordan has chosen to step away from basketball, but understand it is in her best interest to do so at this time," Littell said. "She is an outstanding young lady and we wish her nothing but the best in the future."
A sophomore guard, Schultz played in all seven of the Cowgirls' games this season, averaging two points in 19 minutes a game. Last season, she started 15 games, including the final nine as OSU captured the WNIT championship.
"I am thankful for the opportunity coach Littell and Oklahoma State gave me," Schultz said in a statement. "I wish I could give back to the team and the program, but it is a time in my life that I need to be there for my family."
Schultz was the Tulsa World's All-Metro Player of the Year in 2011 after scoring a school-record 1,580 points in her three seasons at Claremore.
