A driver was hospitalized with minor injuries after a collision on Riverside Drive propelled her car into the Arkansas River.
A southbound white Mercury Montego careened into the water after the car came into contact with a blue Mazda four-door car around 7:15 a.m. Thursday, said Tulsa Police Cpl. Jerrod Hart.
The cars collided as one attempted to pass the other near 29th Street and Riverside, Hart said.
The driver of the Montego suffered minor knee injuries and was taken to the hospital. The other driver was uninjured, police said.
No one was injured in a second crash at the scene when an SUV rear-ended another car.
