Lillie "Ann" Howard

Lillie “Ann” Howard was the oldest of two daughters born to Jessie and Irene Wilford July 23, 1926, in Tulsa Oklahoma. A graduate of Carver Middle School and Booker T Washington High School, Class of 1945. Ann owned a candy store on Pine during the 1970’s and worked as a housekeeper for several families in the Tulsa area. She was dedicated member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church where she actively served on the Usher Board and was the elementary Sunday school teacher for many years. Ann was passionate about all sports and loved to travel. She served as a chaperone on numerous church trips to the National Baptist Congress. Mrs. Howard touched many, many lives and we will all miss her special greeting “Hi Honey” or “Honey Bunnies.” Survived by: son: Sherman Patterson, Sr., grandchildren: Natalie Patterson, Sonya Patterson, Sherman Patterson, Jr., Leya Patterson, great-grandchildren: Carmeshia Patterson, Carlin Adkism, Daffanie Wilson, Dion Patterson, Pebble Patterson and Treylin Quarrels, a niece Wanda, a nephew Alonzo, and a host of great-great grandchildren, great-nieces, nephews, and many friends. Services are Friday at 10am, at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Viewing is at Add’vantage Funeral Service, 1-7pm today.
