Lora Marie Carden James

Lora Marie Carden James was born in
Saline County, AR, February 22, 1923, and
died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, in Tulsa,
OK. She was the daughter of J.F. and Rosa
Lee Carden, and spent her childhood in Hot
Springs and Saline County. Marie graduated
from Rural Dale High School near
Benton, AR. She married the love of her
life, Rodney James, April, 1946. In 1952,
they moved to Tulsa. Lora Marie is survived
by her husband, Rodney, her son, Randy,
grandsons, Justin James and Jesse James.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
her son, Ricky James and daughter-in-law,
Kathy James; brothers, Muriel, Melvin,
Edwin, and James Carden; and sister, Ruby
Kepley. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M.,
Thursday, December 13, 2012. Funeral service
will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December
14, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery
