U.S. No 1 HARD RED WINTER WHEAT: .15 to .17 lower. 7.88-8.25.

COTTON: Grade 41, Leaf 4, Staple 34 Cotton in southwestern Oklahoma averaged 68.75 cents per pound.

EGGS: Large 1.51; medium 1.21; small 1.02.

The state Department of Agriculture reported the following prices Wednesday at the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts: 8,766 ; week ago: 11,047 ; year ago: 11,901.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 2); higher. Steer calves steady to 2 lower. Heifer calves steady to 1 lower. Demand moderate with very little demand for short weaned calves. Quality plain thru several attractive. Beef prices lower at week's end and slaughter cattle moving lower though numbers of cash trades were limited. Supply included 58 percent over 600 lbs; 36); percent heifers.
