John Stephen McClure went to be with his Lord and Savior on December, 12 2012. He was born in Asher, Oklahoma on July 11, 1944 to Ruth and Sandy McClure. Steve grew up in Konawa, Oklahoma where he lived and worked the family business throughout his life. In 1981 Steve met the love of his life, Sherrill. He is survived by his wife Sherrill, mother Ruth McClure, 1 brother, 2 sisters, 7 nephews, 2 nieces, 2 step-children and 4 grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his father Sandy McClure. He was a wonderful and loving husband and devoted to his family. Steve was humble, kind, and a loyal friend. He was truly a special person and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 12/14/2012.
