A Sapulpa woman was killed and two others were injured Saturday in a multiple vehicle wreck in Tulsa County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Carolyn Krawetzke, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene, the OHP reported.
Taylor Rooks, 20, of Sapulpa, was traveling east in a 2008 Mazda on Oklahoma 97 when the sedan collided with a northbound 1984 Ford SUV driven by Dennis Krawetzke, 62, of Sapulpa at the intersection of 61st Street South about 8:37 a.m, OHP said.
Troopers said Rooks' car failed to yield to at a stop sign and was then struck by Krawetzke's SUV.
Rooks was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where she was treated and later released.
Dennis Krawetzke was admitted to St. Francis for observation, troopers said.
Rooks was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, troopers reported. The Krawetzkes were not wearing seatbelts, OHP said.
