"Sweet." It's the theme for this year's Toyland Ball, the signature event for the Parent Child Center of Tulsa, and it's set for Jan. 12 at the Hyatt Regency, 100 E. Second St.
The black-tie gala will offer cocktails, dinner, a live auction and dancing to the music of Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screamin' Radishes.
Jennifer Legler is ball chairwoman. Irene and Stan Burnstein are honorary chairs.
Lisa Antry will be honored as the year's Guardian Angel. She will be recognized for the difference she has made in the mission of the Parent Child Center over the past decade. She has been a driving force behind many programs and projects, has held numerous leadership positions on the board of directors, has supported vital services for children at risk for abuse and neglect, has introduced community and foundation leaders to the work of the center, and was chairwoman of one of the most successful Toyland Ball events ever.
On the auction block, featured items will include packages such as a private Lear jet getaway courtesy of Omni Air, a private dinner party for 25 at Biga, stays at vacation homes, artwork by Otto Duecker, custom jewelry by Susan Sadler, a dinner party for 12 at a private home catered by Burn Co.
