"Pioneer Woman" Ree Drummond will be at Steve's Sundry, Books and Magazines, 2612 S. Harvard Ave., beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday to sign copies of her latest book, a children's story titled "Charlie and the Christmas Kitty" (HarperCollins, $17.99).
It's the second book Drummond has written that features Charlie, the Drummond family basset hound that has become almost as famous as his owner, thanks to his appearances on Drummond's "Pioneer Woman" blog and Food Network TV show.
The new book describes Charlie's consternation when Christmas morning brings a tiny kitten to the ranch where Charlie believes himself to be king.
Diane DeGroat created the book's illustrations.
