Wreck knocks down power line; 1,500 customers without electricity

A traffic accident has left more than 1,500 customers without power Monday evening.
Crews are working to repair a downed power line near 21st Street and Memorial Drive, police said.
According to the American Electric Power-Public Service Company of Oklahoma website, 1,588 customers lost power just before 9 p.m., affecting residents in a one-half square mile radius.
Those without power are in the area from 12th to 21st street between Memorial Drive and 89th East Avenue.
