Lamb scores 26 to lead 66ers past Bakersfield

Jeremy Lamb scored 26 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the Tulsa 66ers past the Bakersfield Jam 114-98 in NBA Development League action late Saturday in Bakersfield, Calif.

Lamb shot 10-for-12 from the field, including 6-for-8 from 3-point range. The University of Connecticut product also had six assists.

Fellow Thunder assignee Daniel Orton scored 18 points with seven rebounds, and Hollis Thompson finished with a career-best 25 points with seven rebounds.

Tulsa's Rodney Bartholomew collected his first career double-double with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

Renaldo Major led the Jam with 16 points, while Jerel McNeal added 14 off the bench.

Bouncing back from a 101-94 loss to Bakersfield on Friday night, the 66ers (6-3) went 41-for-75 (55 percent) from the field for their best shooting performance of the season.

The 66ers return to action at 7 p.m. Friday against the Iowa Energy at the SpiritBank Event Center.
