Ruda Elizabeth “Beth” McBay passed away on Saturday December 15, 2012, preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Thomas G. McBay Jr.. She was born on January 14, 1931, in Bearden, Arkansas. She was very active in the Northeast District of Oklahoma Garden Club holding multiple offices. Beth was active with the neighborhood association, as well as other volunteer activities and found great joy in her involvement with the Seniors for Students program and the book club which she helped organize. She is survived by her four children Susan McBay, Tom McBay, Karen McBay and Ann Francis, one grandson, Zach Francis, and three of four sisters, Jean Watson, Sadie Ashcraft and Charlotte Sullivan. Services were held Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel. Moore’s Southlawn 918-663-2233 This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 12/19/2012.
