NORMAN — Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones and offensive lineman Lane Johnson have been invited to play in the 2013 Senior Bowl.

The annual contest — heavily attended by NFL coaches and scouts during the week’s practices — will be played Jan. 26 at Ladd-Peoples Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

Jones owns more victories (39) than any quarterback in Oklahoma history. He is the Big 12’s career leader in passing yards (16,368) and total offense (16,000).

Johnson began his college career as a quarterback at Kilgore College before transferring to OU. He spent his redshirt sophomore season as a tight end and a defensive end before starting 21 of the last 24 games at offensive tackle.

The game will be televised by the NFL Network.
