Give NOAH teammate and good friend Sam Branch an assist in getting Allonzo Trier on national television Thursday night.

Come to think of it, give Branch a literal assist. He threw the pass that led to the high-flying Trier's dunk in a 66-65 win at Siloam Springs, Ark., on Tuesday night.

NOAH (Northeast Oklahoma Association of Homeschools) rallied from a double-digit deficit to give Siloam Springs its first loss in eight games.

Two nights later, Trier's dunk was No. 3 on ESPN SportsCenter's Top Plays segment.

"My phone's just been going frantic over the past 12 hours," Trier said when reached Friday afternoon. "My (Twitter) mentions and followers are way up. I think it's really cool."

Trier, who led the OKC Storm to a runner-up finish in the national home-school tournament last season, is known far and wide as one of the nation's top sophomores. But his dunk might not have gotten out of northwest Arkansas without a little help from his friend.

Branch uploaded the play to YouTube and started tweeting it to friends and fellow players around Tulsa. Then he contacted ESPN by email and was told to retweet the play with an "SCtop10" hashtag.

He, Trier and friends started tweeting the play to as many people as they could think of. Trier returned from Thursday's practice to find an email from ESPN asking for clearance to use the video.
