Christian Ministers Alliance short of toys for needy children

The Christian Ministers Alliance is in desperate need of toys with just a few days remaining before Christmas.
The Rev. W.R. Casey, president of the Christian Ministers Alliance, said Saturday the lack of donations has impacted the organization that has provided donated toys and other items to underprivileged Tulsa Public School children and their families for the last 30 years.
The group requested 4,000 toys from the local Toys for Tots but were unable to come close to that number due to a shortage of donations the program received this year.
"We need toys," Casey said. "It would mean the world to us to get the toys we need by Monday."
