Highlight: The Oilers' losing streak extended to eight games with a 3-0 loss to the Quad City Mallards in Central Hockey League action at the i wireless center in Moline, Ill., on Saturday. Former Oiler Patrik Levesque opened the scoring at 16:20 of the first period when he muscled his way to the front of the Tulsa net and slid the puck under Oilers goalie Shane Madolora.
Keys: The Mallards scored a goal in all three periods. Matt Boyd beat Madolora with a backhand at 16:03 of the second period, and Anthony Perdicaro shot a rebound past the goaltender to provide some insurance with four minutes left to play.
Notes: With the victory, Mallards head coach Terry Ruskowski recorded his 600th professional win. ... Madolora made 26 saves in his Oilers and CHL debut. He was the fourth different Oilers goaltender to start in the last four games. ... The Oilers have lost nine straight road games.
