Mary Drake, 91, died Thursday, December 20, 2012, Tulsa, OK. Mary was born December 20, 1921, in Barnsdall, OK, to Robert N. and Ada Lucille (Thomas) Truscott. After college at Oklahoma State University, Mary taught Home Economics in Binger, OK. She transitioned to homemaker as her children were born. Former member of Southside Christian Church. Mary is survived by her daughters and families: Mary Lynn Drake-James, Skiatook, OK, Marcia Drake Trowbridge, her husband, Roo, San Antonio, TX, Melinda Drake Schmitz Tulsa, OK, 4 grandchildren: Peter, Sarah, Anna and Amy; 6 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earl W. Drake, Jr. Memorial Service 2 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, Moore’s Southlawn Chapel.
