ADA — An affidavit filed by investigators seeking to search the dorm room of accused killer Jerrod Murray indicates authorities suspect Murray had plans to carry out more acts of violence.

Murray, 18, has been charged with first-degree murder in the Dec. 5 shooting death of Generro Sanchez, 18. Both men were freshmen at East Central University and lived on the same floor at Pesagi Hall dormitory.

Sanchez's body was found in a ditch near Asher, Murray's hometown. He had been shot twice in the head, Pottawatomie County Undersheriff J.T. Palmer wrote in an affidavit.

Murray, who was arrested near the homicide scene Dec. 6, confessed to killing Sanchez simply to see how it would feel, Palmer wrote.
