Chinowth & Cohen Realtors associates recently volunteered at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. They spent the afternoon sorting and boxing donated food items to be sent to various organizations serving the needy.

The volunteer day followed a company-wide food drive. Several boxes of canned goods and non-perishable items were collected for the food bank, which feeds more than 70,000 people each week. Oklahoma ranks as the fifth-hungriest state in the nation. More than 675,000 Oklahomans struggle with hunger every day.

“Our associates are always looking for ways to serve our community,” said Sheryl Chinowth, CEO for Chinowth & Cohen. “There is no reason why anyone in Oklahoma should be hungry, and as a company we do what we can to fight the state’s devastating hunger statistics.”
