The season: Union coach Kirk Fridrich said that Mejia "had a great year. He was very physical and dominating. It's been a long time since we've had an offensive lineman who had a season with as many highlight-reel blocks as Blake. He is highly competitive and plays the whole play with his downfield blocking."

Rushed for 563 yards and 14 TDs, including winner against Union with 24 seconds left in a 38-35 win.
