Three people were taken to hospitals -- one in critical condition -- after a two-vehicle crash in Tulsa on Wednesday afternoon.
A sport utility vehicle that was heading west on 91st Street collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Suburban as the Suburban was turning left onto the U.S. 169 entrance ramp about 4 p.m., police said.
The SUV then flipped several times, landing on its top, police said. Three people were pinned in the vehicle for about 30 minutes before being extricated by firefighters.
The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Two passengers were taken to another hospital with injuries that were thought not to be life threatening, police said.
The driver of the Suburban was treated at the scene and released, police said.
No citations were issued at the scene, police said.
