Deputies on Thursday arrested a Tulsa man accused of watching his neighbor change clothes through a window in June.

A resident in the 5100 block of East 25th Street called Tulsa police after seeing a man looking through the window of a neighboring house for two to four minutes just before midnight on June 19, according to court documents.

Police determined a 22-year-old woman inside the home had just exited the shower and was changing clothes as the man peered inside, Detective Eric Leverington wrote.

The caller identified Charles Dennis McNamar, 57, who lives in the same block as the caller and the victim, as the man seen peeping into the woman’s home, the report states.

Investigators then questioned McNamar, who “admitted that he knowingly looked into the victim’s window with the intent of trying to observe her changing clothes,” Leverington wrote.

The Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office filed a misdemeanor peeping Tom charge against McNamar in July, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was arrested at 7:30 a.m. Thursday and was released after posting $1,000 bond.
