Bonnie Jean Monson was born March 3, 1925 in Hastings, Nebraska. She graduated in 1942 from Tulsa Central High School. She began her career with Gulf Oil Company and was employed for many years with Jones & Laughlin. After leaving Jones & Laughlin, she opened a personnel agency and continued as an independent business owner for many years. Bonnie is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Arch Monson. Arch and Bonnie were car enthusiasts and traveled nationally showing their Porsche cars. They also were the founders of the Porsche Club of Oklahoma. Bonnie is survived by sisters-in-law Cleo McWhorter and Doris Dodson and brother-in-law Bert Berry. Also nephews Steve Dodson, Mike Dodson, Mark Berry, Kevin McWhorter and nieces Diane Mitchell and Kim Haas as well as several great-nephews and nieces.
