The people who fear stricter gun laws and are stocking up on weapons to protect themselves should be reminded of the pharmacist in Oklahoma City, Jerome Ersland. Because he protected himself, his employees and his business by using a gun on armed robbers and killing one, he spent his second Christmas in prison - with many years to go on his sentence.
Yes, we have a right to protect ourselves from those who would do us harm, but if we exercise that right, who will protect us from the justice system?
