Jenks girls basketball coach Mandy Nightingale said she feared that senior Emily Dennis suffered a torn ACL in Saturday's third-place game vs. Cushing in the Tournament of Champions.
"(She) hasn't gotten an MRI yet but doctor just looked at it and is 95 (percent) sure," Nightingale wrote Sunday in a text message.
Dennis, a 6-foot-2 post player, took a nasty spill and may have had her left knee buckle while trying to chase down a loose ball in the third quarter.
She was helped from the court favoring her knee and did not return to the game.
