Tulsa rain on Monday surpasses rest of December

Tulsa received more rain Monday than it received the rest of December.
The National Weather Service reported 0.69 of an inch of rain by 5 p.m. Monday in Tulsa. Before Monday, December had recorded only 0.16 of an inch of rain.
Normal December rainfall for Tulsa is 2.49 inches, according to the weather service.
This week, Tulsa has daily high temperatures forecast for the mid-30s to mid-40s through the weekend, when highs in the 50s are forecast.
Overnight lows in the 20s are forecast through Sunday night, when lows are expected to rise to the mid-30s.
