Two fast food employees were held at gunpoint by a robber wearing a Batman mask Tuesday morning.

The assailant brandished a black and silver semiautomatic handgun and demanded money from the cash register at the KFC restaurant near 21st Street and Garnett Road shortly after 10:30 a.m., police said.

Witnesses told police the man was about 6 feet 2 inches tall and skinny. His skin and face were obscured by dark clothing, including a Batman mask and scarf around his neck, said Cpl. Bruce Alexander.

The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers and safe. There were no reported injuries.

Anyone with information on the holdup is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2677).
