Key play: Cody Green threw his fourth pick-6 of the 2012 season when his intended pass to Keyarris Garrett was intercepted and returned 31 yards by Jeremy Reeves for a touchdown to give the Cyclones a 10-0 lead.
Key stat: Ja'Terian Douglas gained 51 yards on only three carries to help the Golden Hurricane get back into the contest. Douglas had 26 rushing yards on TU's opening touchdown drive.
Number to know: 69. It is the distance of Iowa State quarterback Sam Richardson's touchdown pass to Ernst Brun for a score.
