Baseball: Indians, Myers agree to 1-year deal

The Cleveland Indians have agreed to terms with free agent right-hander Brett Myers on a one-year contract. Myers, who pitched for Houston and the Chicago White Sox last season, will get a chance to win a spot in Cleveland's starting rotation.
Myers has a 97-93 career record with a 4.20 ERA in 249 starts. He spent eight seasons with Philadelphia before signing as a free agent with Houston in 2010.
