Almost everyone who hears about the shooting at Sandy Hook that took the lives of 28 people, (including 20 children) reacts with sadness, anger and outrage. Rightly so. The evilness of this horrific act is almost beyond comprehension. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends that were affected by this senseless crime.

Every day since 1973 an average of 3,500 babies are murdered in a medical procedure called abortion. That's about 1.3 million per year. In the time the Sandy Hook massacre took place, about 100 abortions were performed. How can a society that professes to value the sanctity of life continue to allow this infanticide to happen? Where's the outrage?

May God have mercy on us.
