I think I can make some money off of the proliferation of guns around here, and help weed out some of the more contentious gun owners at the same time. I'll buy some rural land, put up a couple of rustic barns and a split rail fence, and call it the "OK Corral."
Then I'll rent it out those folks just itching to shoot, and they can stage their own shootouts.
Callous and unfeeling, you say? If we allow people to own assault weapons, the purpose of which is only to kill people, and clips that hold ridiculous amounts of ammunition, aren't we just facilitating more slaughter? Now there are calls to arm teachers, for heaven's sake. We're heading backward toward the gun-slinging days of the 1800s.
Hey, I could set up bleachers and charge admission for spectators.
