The people who want guns taken out of homes are asking for domination by government. Our forefathers made the right to bear arms just for the reason that this country should be governed by the people. Now, we have many in federal and state government who believe that they only have the ability to say what we the people need and should have.
The idea of we the people having the ability to exert some control over the future of our country frightens them. After all, they are the elite, so they would have us believe. If we allow the gun-control crowd to take our weapons then we will have lost one more significant right that our Constitution has given us. I hope that is prevented by our elected leaders.
