Delbert Goad, 80, Jenks, died January 1, 2013. He was born to Jesse and Linnie Goad in Pierce,Oklahoma. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 61 years. He is also survived by his two children: Larry Goad (wife Paula) Tulsa and Christa Robinson (husband Allen) Jenks; six grandchildren: Cameron Goad (wife Amy), Courtney Goad of Tulsa; Sarah Robinson, Patrick Robinson of Jenks; Gina Nichols, Doug Neal (wife Sarah), Owasso; four greatgrandchildren: Brayden Goad of Tulsa; Dakota Nichols, Ember Nichols, Isaac Neal, of Owasso. He is also survived by one brother, John Goad (wife Rose) of Claremore, three sisters, Doris Peters of Henryetta, Angie Sams and Imogene Drake of Tulsa, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, James Goad of Tulsa. Delbert retired in 1987 after 35 years with Ridley’s Sound, a division of Tele-Hi-Fi Company as the general manager. He had also resided at the DelDot ranch in Beggs, Oklahoma from 1966-2000, when he retired from ranching. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
