17-year-old arrested in sexual assault investigation

A teenager was arrested Friday afternoon in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in December, Tulsa police announced.
The crime occurred on Dec. 21 in the 6100 block of East Pine Street, according to police.
A Tulsa police officer notified sex crimes detectives that a person he had dealt with on Dec. 23 resembled the composite sketch of the assailant and that the person frequented the area where the assault occurred, police said.
Subsequent investigation led to the 17-year-old's identification as the suspect, according to police. His name was not released because he is a juvenile and no charges have been filed.
A man or boy who is was an accomplice is still at large, police said. The investigation continues into the accomplice's identity, according to police.
