Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigators are asking the public to help locate a vehicle that was in the area of a fatal collision on the Will Rogers Turnpike last month.

Joyce M. Kapcsos, 25, of Miami, Okla., died as a result of the Dec. 28 accident, which occurred in the highway's westbound lanes near mile marker 247, between Tulsa and Claremore, according to the OHP.

Kapcsos was a passenger in a car that was disabled on the roadway. She was struck by a westbound pickup after she stepped out of the car, troopers reported.

Evidence shows that a third vehicle, a black pickup, was in the area of the crash, OHP spokesman Lt. George Brown announced Friday night.

"At this point, we are only interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen or have information about this vehicle," Brown said in a press release.

Anyone with information may call OHP Troop L dispatch in Vinita at 918-256-3388 or Troop B in Tulsa at 918-627-0440.
