Notes: During a Southland Conference opener against Southeastern Louisiana, Oral Roberts senior guard Kevi Luper became the 48th player in NCAA Division I history to score at least 2,500 career points.
ORU will conclude a two-game league-opening road swing with a Saturday game at Nicholls State, and Luper isn't the only player on the ORU roster who is making a statistical impact.
Junior center Sarah Shelton scored 18 points in the conference opener and leads the Southland Conference in field goal percentage.
Senior guard Jaci Bigham produced her sixth career double-double in her first Southland game and leads the league in assists.
With the win over Southeastern Louisiana, Misti Cussen became the first ORU coach to win a conference debut since Rhonda Penquite in 1987.
