Arming teachers and school administrators is like the recent decision to arm airline pilots. Are they and their passengers more important than our children?
With the present situation, people who are bent on doing harm to others know that people in schools and in businesses and public buildings with "No Guns" signs posted have no defense against them.
In spite of several recent serious events, violent crime is down significantly in our country, and an important reason for this is that the bad guys are finding that more of our citizens are armed and able to defend themselves.
