The 5-foot-8 senior guard has been a clutch performer for the 4A No. 6 Braves, who are 5-3 with only one loss in the state. He is averaging 20.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 3.0 assists. Lucas is shooting 80 percent on free throws. In the week before the holiday break, he scored 34 points against Webster and 26 against McLain. Lucas made last-second shots in wins over B.T. Washington and McLain.
