Man stable after Sunday shooting

Tulsa police are investigating a shooting late Sunday.

The shooting happened about just after 9 p.m. in the 500 block of East 48th East Place North, police said.

A man was shot once in the lower torso, police said. He was taken to an area hospital by EMSA, where he is listed in stable condition.

Detectives are attempting to establish a motive for the shooting. A suspect description was not available police said.
