Authorities initially believed the shooting happened in Tulsa, and Tulsa police responded to the call.

Catoosa police responded after it was discovered McCarty was shot in the 16100 block of Tigerswitch Road in Catoosa, Bates said.

McCarty was transported to St. John Medical Center. He is not seriously injured and was in stable condition Monday morning, police said.

Bates said McCarty “is refusing to cooperate with police at this time.”
