ORU's Damen Bell-Holter named Southland player of week

Oral Roberts University post player Damen-Bell Holter has been named the Southland Conference men’s basketball player of the week.
The senior from Hydaburg, Alaska, averaged 30.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as ORU opened Southland competition with a road sweep of Southeastern Louisiana and Nicholls State. He scored a career-high 35 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in his league debut against Southeastern Louisiana.
Bell-Holter is shooting 23-of-33 from the field and 15-of-19 from the free throw line in league play.
He also blocked four shots, moving into sixth place on ORU’s career blocked shots list with 108.
