Einstein Bros. Bagles, which recently opened at 8125 E. 101st St. in far south Tulsa, already is working on opening two additional stores.
One will be located on the northeast side of 71st Street and Yale Avenue next to Naples Flatbread & Wine Bar, and the other will be at 25 W. Fifth St. on the northeast corner of Fifth Street and Boulder Avenue where Burkhart’s Office Plus used to be.
“We are looking toward the end of March or early April to open both of the new locations,” said area manager Gary DeWint. “We probably will be looking at Broken Arrow next.”
Franchise owners of the Tulsa stores are Charles McSperitt and Bryan Hendershot.
“We are committed to opening seven stores in the Tulsa area,” McSperitt said.
The national bagel chain features 18 flavors of bagels, breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches, deli sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, specialty coffee drinks and smoothies.
Einstein Bros. Bagels currently is serving five types of coffee — regular, decaf, vanilla, dark roast and a winter blend that has a cinnamon flavor.
The current restaurant is open 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. DeWint said the downtown store will be open only Monday-Friday.
