Seventh homicide victim of 2013 identified

Police identified the man who was fatally shot Monday night, the fifth homicide of the day.
Christopher Odis Williams, 52, was found fatally shot at the Garden Courtyard apartment complex, in the 4300 block of South Garnett Road.
Williams was at the apartment complex to visit his sister when he was attacked by a man in the parking lot, Sgt. Mark Watson said Monday night.
As he tried to run away, he was shot in the back, Watson said. He made it to his sister's apartment where he collapsed, Watson said.
He was transported to Saint Francis Hospital, where he died from his wounds.
Police canvassed the area to find witnesses and are still working to determine a suspect and motive, police said.
Williams was shot about nine hours after four women were found dead in a Tulsa apartment with gunshot wounds, bringing the total number of homicides in 2013 to seven.
