Police identify four victims in fatal shooting

Tulsa police have identified the four women fatally shot Monday at an apartment complex.

Rebeika Powell, 23; Kayetie Melchor, 23; Misty Nunley, 33; and Julie Jackson, 55, were killed in an attack inside an apartment at Fairmont Terrace, 1111 E. 60th St., police said Tuesday.

Their bodies were found at 12:35 p.m. when someone went to check on the apartment's residents, Officer Leland Ashley said.

A 4-year-old boy was also found inside the apartment. He had not been injured.

Tulsa police are still investigating a possible motive for the shooting.
