St. Louis-based Alberici Corp. has completed its acquisition of Tulsa-based construction firm Flincto LLC, giving 215 employees in Tulsa a new boss.

Alberici, also a construction company, announced in October that it was in discussions to purchase the 105-year-old Tulsa company and Tuesday said the deal was finished.

“This strategic acquisition will provide both companies with a broader geographic platform to better serve existing and new customers,” said Alberici president and CEO Greg Kozicz in a statement Tuesday.

Flintco has 750 employees nationwide and is one of the country’s largest contracting firms. Its work is notable in many area projects, including the One Place building in downtown Tulsa, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the Tulsa Zoo, among others.

Alberici and Flintco had previously stated that the new owner would keep all Flintco employees and divisions after the acquisition.

The company did not release financial details on the purchase.
