Man wanted for questioning in Fairmont killings arrested

A man wanted for questioning in a quadruple homicide Monday has been arrested in Kansas, homicide detectives said.

The Tulsa Police Department on Tuesday named Joseph L. Tillman, 33, as a subject wanted on suspicion of domestic assault and battery.

Investigators also sought to speak with him about the quadruple homicide Monday of four women at Fairmont Terrace, 1111 E. 60th St. He has not been charged or named as a suspect in the shooting.

He was arrested during a traffic stop in Independence, Kan., Sgt. Dave Walker said early Wednesday.

Police said Tillman is “known to frequent” the 61st Street and Peoria Avenue area.
