Sally Jo Margetson, 85, passed away in Dallas, Texas on January 7, 2013. She was born May 13, 1927 in Humphrey, Arkansas. Sally spent her career in the Tulsa area as a teacher for Tulsa Public Schools, a librarian for Owasso Public Schools, administrator at Tulsa Vo-Tech, and ultimately retired from Union Public Schools as Media Director. She had been living in her hometown of Humphrey, Arkansas until she moved to Dallas, Texas for cancer treatment. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, husband Calvin H. Mar- getson, and son George E. Margetson. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Perry Hood of Tulsa, daughter and sonin-law, Janie and David Flynt of Dallas, two granddaughters, Becky Collins and Kristen Margetson, sister, Frances Young, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Stuttgart, Arkansas directed by Turpin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lone Tree Cemetery, Stuttgart, Arkansas.
