Tulsa police responded to a robbery at a Mexican eatery late Wednesday.

Emergency dispatchers received a report of a robbery with shots fired at the Tacos Don Francisco, 4008 E. 11th St. around 11:30 p.m., Officer Jillian Roberson said.

Employees told the responding officers that a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a mask entered the restaurant and fired one round from a pistol into a refrigerator before grabbing money from the cash register and fleeing the scene, Roberson said.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his early 20s.
